First Day with the Sunbeam

Today is the first day for the restoration of the Sunbeam. Well actually not the first day.....

this is how it happened.....

Two days ago, I went went onto Craig's List and saw an add for a Sunbeam Alpine Series 3. I looked at it today and made a deal with the owner to buy it. It's beautiful, and in pieces.

There is only a frame, the shell, and whole lot of misc parts. No engine, no transmission, a little rust and a few dents.

I'm going to fully restore it, back to it's glory, and hopefully document it every step of the way.
